Hey, I'm Shona!

I am a family, maternity and newborn lifestyle photographer, based in West Lothian, Scotland, and a Mum to my own two wee wildlings. (So trust me when I say that I am very used to photographing super uncooperative children.)

I have had a camera in my hand for such a huge portion of my life. You know the person who had the old style compact camera in their tiny handbag on every university night out - that was me! The person who can't remember what they did on any given day until they check back to see what photos there are from said day - that is me! Since I was young I have loved photographs, and everything about their magical way to transport you back into a moment and a memory.

After having my boys I quickly realised that I wanted to make sure any time I spent away from them working was doing something I was passionate about, and I've hit the jackpot with family photography. Being able to give families beautifully captured, natural moments has turned my true passion into something that is so far from 'work', it is a special privilege to spend time photographing each family and their unique story and connection.
